Earlier this year, I had the incredible opportunity to experience Hacienda Alta Gracia located in the beautiful mountains of Pérez Zeledón in southern Costa Rica. It was 3 glorious days and nights of adventure, relaxation, spa treatments, gourmet cuisine & the magical pure vida spirit of the local Costa Rican people. It was HEAVEN!
It’s an Auberge resort, so you already know it’s going to be beyond, but it truly exceded all of my expectations. Alta Gracia offers the best of both worlds: the comfort and luxury of a world-class resort, combined with the awe-inspiring natural beauty of Costa Rica. We dined on locally grown coffee & gourmet cuisine, after returning from a morning hike or horseback ride. Spent afternoons indulging in treatments and the purifying clay ritual at the Casa de Aqua at THE WELL spa. Gorgeous dinners in the Garden or room service in the private heated plunge pool under the stars - take me back!!

Two of the highlights of the trip were The River Bath (with an aura cleansing!) & a cultural tour to visit local makers in the area.
