Celebrating 10 years!

HI EVERYONE!

Look! My very first newsletter, and only 10 years in the making! What a whirlwind decade it’s been. Two companies, two kids, two (plus) years of a pandemic, 2 million flights booked and two full hours of sleep. I’m kidding (sort of)!

A massive thank you to my team, who have stuck with me through the turbulence (travel agent joke) of the past few years. And to our cherished clients, we wouldn’t be here without you!

THANK YOU for your support, love and loyalty over the past 10 years of Smart & Savvy Travel and The Optimists.

I wanted to share a note to connect with all of you, because through the seemingly endless business development work we’ve been doing, we realized that connection is our “Why,” our purpose.

We are passionate about connecting the dots on your complicated tour travel. We find joy in connecting you with the perfect hotel experience. We thrive on connecting with you and your travelers when you’re in need of assistance on the road.

At The Optimists, we’re working diligently behind the scenes on a bright future. We’re growing our team — say hi to Mary, Cory and Kris — and investing in our systems, Moxo and TravelJoy, to improve the travel management experience for all of us. Why? So we can spend more time connecting with more of you, and continue to provide sustainable careers for our team while giving back to our community.

And more exciting things are coming in 2023!
